
Lane Cove Tunnel
BCS were appointed to stop water flow near critical structures in the Lane Cove Tunnel in 2013 and 2014 The 3.6km twin tunnel motorway is located under Epping Road and links the M2 Motorway at North Ryde with the Gore Hill Freeway at Artarmon. The tunnel was completed in March 2007 for a contract value of $1.1 billion.

Balmain Shipyard
BCS were appointed in 2012 to reduce saline water flow through the sandstone joints of the iconic Balmain Shipyard. As specialists in the waterproofing of natural stone and concrete structures, BCS were able to deliver a range of solutions for this project.

Taringa Train Station
BCS delivered a range of refurbishment and maintenance services to extend the asset lifespan of the Taringa Train Station during 2012 to 2013. As project managers, BCS implemented specialist application systems incorporating anti-slip flooring and concrete repairs designed to extend the durability of the reinforcement of the concrete structures.

Airport Link Tunnel
Airport Link is the longest road tunnel in Australia. It includes road header and TBM tunnels with multiple cut and cover on and off ramps. This complex project required diverse application methods for the waterproofing of all sections without excavation.

Clem 7 Tunnel
The Clem 7 was the largest tunnelling project in Australia at the time of construction and the longest road tunnel before Airport Link. The tunnel reaches 60 meters under the Brisbane River and was built to withstand high water pressures.
